Michel Lafarge, Volnay, Clos des Chenes 1993 [1.5-2.0cm pristine] Rhone Rouge one torn capsule1. 5 2. 0cm 93 CellarTracker Member (Blind) Gorgeous spice on the nose, secondary but still very powerful. Guessing something fresh from mid 1990s. Some iodine and iron mineral. Has a flicker of Northern Rhone character as well in terms of a wild rusticity, although there is plenty of dark red fruit at the core. Becoming more elegant as it sits in the glass, not decanted. Great showing, great bottle, 93 94. 5 17 2025 95 CellarTracker Member Heater
