This can of powder is unopened and appears to have never been used in any capacity

On the left sleeve towards the cuff there are service stripes denoting 2 years of service overseas

Reverse is well marked with manufactures initials and date N&H - 1941

which has a very good condition bore

and it was chartered on September 16

This is an extremely scarce set of World War I dated Gewehr 98 Ammunition pouches, with one being dated 1915. These are very difficult to find without post war modifications. The pair matches well and would look fantastic displayed together on a belt. One of the pouches retain faint German unit markings on top of one pouch, but they are too difficult to read. Maybe with enough work, they could be discerned.
