Found Face hand-carved Mexican mask making it feel very much

making it feel very much as one with the swirl of nature all around it

All of these are antique and have certainly been around

but I've never seen another like this

As with many of my favorite Inuit pieces

A number of months ago I found a lovely vintage glass pitcher with hand-painted bluebirds

Found Face hand-carved Mexican mask making it feel very muchI think may have been an anode used in a car, which I only know through searching for its likeness. I just love it as a found face, which reads wide eyed happy attentive from one side, and sad horrified from the other! Cast of metal, with a nicely aged, craggy sort of surface that makes it read more like concrete now. With a strangely intense sculptural presence! 3 5 8 x 3 1 8 t x1 1 2 d. Aging as evident, all to the good.
