This is a very cute Open Top six shot . 32 caliber Rim Fire Revolver, which at first glance would appear to be for Pinfire ammunition. The pinfire cartridge was introduced in the early 1860's and featured a pin sticking out of the side of the cartridge case. The hammer on these mostly "open top" revolvers smashed down on the pin, discharging the load and firing the weapon. The rimfire cartridge was a great
