Dutch Early 20th Century Monogrammed Linen Seam Work Sampler marching baton He did his military service

He did his military service as a musician in an infantry formation

made of walnut I believe

12" wide x 7 1/2" deep x 7" tall

I'd think late 19th century and believe the wood is pine

I have not found another with this sort of double frame all the way around

Dutch Early 20th Century Monogrammed Linen Seam Work Sampler marching baton He did his military serviceAnother early 1900s Dutch school work sampler, purchased from a seller in the Netherlands, this one constructed of beautiful heavyweight white linen, with six blocks of seamwork, the monogram TT in red thread at the center, and edging all the way around. As simple as can be, but I think a really lovely thing. 20 x 11 1 8" and in very good condition.
