Crazy Folk Art Black Cat on Post brass handle This wonderful little wooden stool

This wonderful little wooden stool shows at least 150 years of love and several layers of paint below its current (perfect) orange

but it is very faint and I am unable to read it

but with more all of the metal points still in place and

lending itself to an endless variety of arrangements of birds in and around the tree

features a faint depiction of a Japanese woman (though her jet black hair is quite pronounced) against a mountainous landscape

Crazy Folk Art Black Cat on Post brass handle This wonderful little wooden stoolI think someone had a lot of fun making this crazy cat, perhaps for Halloween given the huge orange bow, which is quite a thing in combo with pink ears, green eyes, and I am not sure what the yellow is next to its tail! Attached to a metal post, so easy to stick in the lawn for Halloween, or anytime, but I might make it a housecat to have its company all the time! Cat is 16 1 8" tall; 23 3 4" tall including post. 11" wide, 7 16" thick. Very good
