Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, with a central Heer style German national eagle above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 43. 24 mm (w) x 53. 62 mm (h), weighing 15. 2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
