A 75Th Anniversary Estonian Fire Service Badge, By Roman Tavast, C.1943 Newly Listed in the district of Rhein-LahnA badge of multi piece construction, constructed of silvered bronze and blue and white enamels, commemorating the years from 1868 to 1943, the centre obverse presents a silver flower over a blue and white enamelled shield, inscribed VLVTU, surmounted by a firemans helmet set against oak leaves, the reverse presents a screw back plate, maker marked ROMAN TAVAST, TALLINN, measuring 30. 87 mm (w) x 44. 60 mm (h), and in near extremely fine condition.
