Germany. Ss. A Waffen-Ss Eastern Youth Volunteer Arm Insignia United Republic of A 1936 HJ Deutsches Jugendfest(SS Helfer rmelabzeichen). Constructed of a white cotton base, dyed in black to reveal a white SS insignia inside of a triangle, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 68 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition. Footnote: Arm insignia, such as the example offered, were worn by SS Helfer units, comprised of youth volunteers from the Soviet Union. Most of these personnel served as flak crew.
